Who am I?

Crystal Evanoff is a registered psychologist within Alberta (CAP #6208) and British Columbia (CHCPBC #04070). She completed her B.Sc. in Honours Psychology, with Forensic specialization at the University of British Columbia. She then completed her M.A. in Psychological Science and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the same institution. She

She then completed her M.A. in Psychological Science and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the same institution. She joined Lifemark Health Group working in the area of Veteran rehabilitation in September 2023.


 Much of Crystal's current practice is focused on working with Veterans, specifically in the area of posttraumatic stress disorder and trauma recovery. She also often works with mood disorders (e.g., bipolar disorder, depression) and anxiety disorders (e.g., generalized anxiety disorder). She has experience working with psychosis, chronic pain, and maladaptive personality traits.


Crystal maintains a small private practice via Evanoff Psychological Services. However, at this time she is not accepting new clients.

Crystal's clinical approach is integrated, with a strong foundation in cognitive-behavioural therapies and a humanistic lens. Collaboration with clients to highlight their strengths and challenge what is not serving them is a primary feature of her approach. Crystal's clinical approach is integrated, with a strong foundation in cognitive-behavioural therapies and a humanistic lens. Collaboration with clients to highlight their strengths and challenge what is not serving them is a primary feature of her approach. Community psychology and understanding the role of larger social systems on individuals is also embedded throughout her practice.


 Crystal's research interests involve investigating human sexuality, stigma, well-being, life after legal involvement, and community reintegration.
